Dr. Kortnie Strother
Dr. Strother is a native Texan, born and raised in Alvin, Texas. After graduating with honors from the University of Texas, in Austin, she served as an officer in the U.S. Army with education at Ft. Sam Houston, in San Antonio, Texas. She served as a clinical dietitian at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC., providing nutritional care to wounded warriors, where she received a Master of Science degree from Baylor University through the Army Baylor Program in Dietetics. Lastly, Dr. Strother served as a nutritional counselor to military families and retirees at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Virginia.
Dr. Strother left the military as a Captain to pursue dental school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she also earned a certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
Dr. Strother is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, served on the Foundation’s Resident Expert Advisory Council (REACH) from 2019-2020 and is a board eligible candidate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Strother is excited about being back in Central Texas with her husband and two children.
